How To Stay Organized:  
 The 120 page spiral notebook that is listed under the school supply list for 7th grade will be divided together in class during the first few days of school into the following sections:     

 

 

Journal       Grammar      Notes     Writing

In your orange folder for this class, you should have one side labeled for “homework” to be done, and the other side for handouts.  In the blue folder, you should have one side labeled “drafts” and the other side labeled, “completed.”  Once you receive your work back, if it is a writing piece, put it in your “completed” side of your blue folder to stay until the end of the year.  Any other work you receive back you should take home and keep in a safe place until the end of the quarter.  If there are any questions about your grade, you must provide the paper to show me before I can do anything to change it.  At the end of the year you will receive your blue writing folder and it will be great to see how much your writing has improved.
