Allina, the seventeen year old mermaid,
stared at the rippling surface above, where the sun gleamed on her purple and
blue highlighted blonde hair. The sun reflected the tear on her cheek, because
she felt alone in the world. The sun seemed to stand still, but the moon was
like a bird flying across the horizon. And it seemed like every being in the
ocean stared at her in disgust, just because she was the king's daughter.
Meanwhile, in the city of Penay, South of
the reef, Doraz, the merman, sat on a pile of green, scratchy seaweed and held
the only remnant of his father, a magic pink pearl. Doraz was seeking a person
who he could trust and really relate to.
One day, while the mer-people were at
Fish*Mart, shoppingfor delicious seaweed spaghetti; Allina saw the most
gorgeous merman ever! While standing in line she saw him behind her and noticed
he had the cheapest brand of seaweed spaghetti........
